Democo built phase 1 of Stadsterras Mortsel, a project developed by Ciril in the centre of Mortsel. The new urban district brings together living, learning, shopping, parking and public space around a traffic-calmed inner area.
In this first phase, Democo realised the apartment buildings Mimir, Iduna and Gefion, together accounting for 67 residential units. The phase also includes a new building for LBC adult education, commercial spaces, an underground car park and the construction of the new public domain. The apartments were built according to BEN standards, with features such as solar panels, underfloor heating, green zones and wadis.
