Democo realised a new extension for GO! Busleyden Atheneum Campus Zandpoort on Zandpoortvest in Mechelen.
The extension consists of a multifunctional refectory with kitchen, sports infrastructure, a language learning centre, an entrepreneurship learning centre and two laboratories. The new infrastructure supports flexible use by the school as well as by external users for workshops, lectures, seminars and training sessions.
The project comprises 2,391 m² of buildings and 1,738 m² of landscaping. The building was realised within the DBFM programme of the Aurora Scholen consortium, with Democo as contractor and project supervisor. The Energy Circle is responsible for maintenance.
