Yesterday marked the official start of Ubicenter II at the Philips site in Leuven.

Together with client ViRiX, construction partner Cordeel and the other project partners, Democo looks ahead to the delivery of this new office building. Leuven Mayor Mohamed Ridouani and aldermen Dirk Vansina, Lalynn Wadera and Lies Corneillie also attended the event.

10,000 m² of future-focused office space

Democo and Cordeel are jointly constructing a new 10,000 m² office complex. Ubicenter II marks the final stage in the redevelopment of the former Philips site.

The ambitions are high: the building is set to become a future-focused working environment, with the ambition of achieving BREEAM Excellent certification upon completion. De Gregorio & Partners was responsible for the design, while MBC Engineering carried out the structural engineering study.

The official start marked an important milestone for Ubicenter II. Together, we now take the next step towards delivering the project.
